    Is the scratch a fault of the lense coatings? I had a pair of pentax lenses once (they were crap) and got what looked like scratches but was the coating flaking off. I got a replacement free!

    Yeah use this. I have used it on my glasses (also Carl Zeiss lenses) after being referred to it by an optician. Works a treat
