Confessions working in a restaurant in my student days.
Used customers’ milk shakes a gargle.
Combed hair over food before serving.
Stood on block of cheese to reach window.
Made plates super hot for customer who complained. Put plate on table but just far away enough so they had to move it.
Left dead mouse in toaster for duration of summer.
Always a sip of customer drinks before serving.

If it was the same branch then I expect you got a liberal dose of snot mixed in with the dough balls, and I do hope you didn't have any olives.

I've moved on to 'Nando's' for my upmarket fast food restaurant chain of choice, if there is no choice that is.
Is London still full of 'Aberdeen' steak houses? It used to be that you couldn't go anywhere in central London where there wasn't one within sight.

There’s a whole generation who has never known home cooking and never known any other meal other than from a supermarket packet or packaged food cooked in a restaurant.
I ate once at Pizza Express and found it overpriced Kr4p.

Pizza Express
I decided to slum it last night and took the wife to Pizza Express.
Its been a few years since I last went and the food seems to have gone downhill since the last time I visited. The dough balls weren't as tasty and everything just tasted a bit more "mass market produced"Tags: None
