Just enjoy it! Any decent contractor's other half should be dressed in a fur, AP undies, and a nice pair of Louboutins. Surely you don't want her going around wearing joggy bottoms and a fleece? Yuk!

Get rid of credit/debit cards and use cash only when shopping.

Also if you own a ltd, tell her the directors have cut your wages in half ,
then keep this amount to cover the lean periods.

I went to a Thai restaurant on valentines day once, the whole place was full of fat ugly white blokes with their Thai brides... how imaginative!

I wish to differ. Divorce is considerably cheaper.

Why are you dropping the entire salary into your account anyway? You're just asking for trouble.

Have you ever wondered why young attractive women fall for older, ugly, boring IT Contractors that appear to have a personality bypass....

Start putting it into savings (ie ISA’s) or pensions. Your gaining money in the long term and she can't argue with it.

Failing that tell her your undergoing an investigation and until it is all clear you need there to be very low spending patterns.

Otherwise say that you were planning this really great holiday/present/other cr*p but now that she has spent it all you can’t do it for her. Get her on the guilt wagon! (mind you that may cause an increase in spending! )
