Pretty clever tactic this one, take a bird to a posh restaurant, find some little matter to complain about, leave without paying, then take her for an Indian. True Yorkshire man tactics!

Its like asking for swede and being given turnip - its just not on!

Good on ya Cliphead!

Well, it was kind of an indeterminate cut and there was a difference in price after all. What got a hair up my arse was the indifferent attitude of the kitchen staff and that's why I walked.Originally posted by AtWLOL dude you are picky! Christ, do you need to see the part of the cow it was cut out?
Too few people in this country are prepared to take a stand and not put up with sh1t for fear of Embarrassment or whatever.

Went for meal
In a rather nice restaurant, excellent reputation, been before and was always happy. Ordered fillet steak for myself and the other half but what arrived was not fillet, more like sirloin. Questioned this and was told to taste it, it would 'be' like fillet.
Told the waitress 'bye bye' and drove to a local Indian takeaway which was the only place open. I told them the story in passing and eventually left with with an excellent curry, tasters of various dishes served up while we waited, diaries, life stories, superb banter with other punters waiting for their order and cost less than a quarter of what the restaurant would have cost.
What price customer service? Johnny foreigner has it sussed.Tags: None
