Would proposing put you firmly inside IR35? After all you lose your freedom to engage in your business in any way that you see fit.... Is being a fiance/husband/wife the equivalent of being a full time employee?

Not that I am planning on doing this! But the old charlotte church thing got me wondering as she wants gavin to propose and him her to propose.

Should

a) the bloke propose, i.e. either risk it or read the ******* signs and know his woman is waiting for him.

b) the woman do it as the blokes are too busy holding doors open

c) either.
