Nationwide Building Society House Price Index April 2024
Key points:- UK house prices fell 0.4% month on month in April
- Annual rate of change slowed to 0.6%, from 1.6% in March
Amongst other things, this has led to some calls within the industry such as Coventry Building Society to reform stamp duty as residential property transactions have slumped to a four year low in the first quarter of 2024.
