Career Change

Still trying to get our roof sorted after last months wind. Had one guy lined up - friend of a friend, was going to to the job for about £100. (few ridge times and half a dozen main tiles) Poor guy broke his leg last week.

So have been ringing around for quotes, one guy wanted £250 just to come out and give us a quote !

Neighbours are getting their roof fixed today (family member), asked him to have a look at our roof - £650 !!!!

Will be an insurance claim - but still, talk about taking the p*ss.
