Yep - I do it with all family birthdays (except Mrs Bear and Baby Bear), Mother's day, Father's day, Xmas etc etc

Did that for years with my parents regarding Birthdays and Christmas - all the money came from their account so why waste it buying cheap tat they probably didn't want anyway! Obviously I exepcted presents myself though.
