That will never happen, but getting close to 90% of adults is very impressive, just need to get kids 12-15 and they might solve Covid problem there - there will be tons of tourists living in mal’a garden

All adults will be double jabbed by end of September.

All adults in Wales will have been offered a first Covid jab by the start of next week, the Welsh government has said.

If reached, it would mean the target would have been met six weeks ahead of schedule.

Meanwhile ministers pledged to offer second doses by the end of September for all adults given a first jab.

Wales is ahead of other UK nations for first doses but behind England and Scotland for people fully vaccinated.

Along with other UK nations, Wales had committed to offering a first dose to all over-18s by the end of July.

Figures show 2.18 million, or 86% of the adult population, have had a first dose and almost 1.25 million have had a second dose, the Welsh government said.

First Minister Mark Drakeford said he expected to "reach 75% take-up across all priority groups and age groups a month ahead of target".

"Subject to vaccine supply, we are confident we can deliver second doses as fast and as successfully as we have first doses," he told a press conference on Monday.
