No points. I try to pay enough attention that I actually see bandits in time. Take care not to get flashed in the country of registration of vehicle.....

I've never had any points either,

and it's not because I'm a goody two shoes, I usually exceed the limit by 15-20%.

Never once been stopped and flashed by cameras twice (must have been empty). (I've just passed the 30th anniversary of passing my test).

I can't understand what it is about some people collecting points like confetti. IME they must either be incredibly unlucky or they actually do drive like lunatics.

No points - though I once had an endorsement (c. 1974) for an alleged bald tyre on a Honda 90 "motorcycle". Bluudy plod was determined to do me for something 'cos I nearly ran him over when he stepped out ten feet in front of me and put his hand up - seeing as how it was dark, thick fog, and the street lamps had all been vandalised it was a miracle I saw the stupid s@d at all!

3 pts for doing 90 on a empty country lane at 7.00 am.

Very polite officer who asked if it was fun driving a Lancia.

Sandy, is it that a Volvo estate can't go fast enough or do you simply flash the eyelids like my wife?

teehee - does anyone here remembers AtW's speed ticket saga !! does anyone remembers him posting about receiving the brown envelope every single day? He drove RogerRabit mad, I believe this is what drove RR to leave the forum at the end

Got up to 10 and was sweating for a bit. I then got pulled up on a r/bout in a traffic jam (snuck an extra place at 2 mph)
plod bike a few places behind pulled me and said he was doing me, despite me being very pleasant and reasonable (this has saved me 6 points or so over the years). The Porsche didn't help I suppose....
I thought I was stuffed and goodbye contract until he said - 3 points have come off this licence 2 weeks ago. I was so happy I wasn't screwed I didn't care about being done !

It was police, and if I remember correctly it was a couple of days short of 6 months which pissed me off no end.

I live in Weston and yes they do sit just off the motorway junction but it’s usually so congested that you don’t have much chance of breaking the speed limit during rush hour, I always give them a wave when I go past!

Almost got three points last year but after I produced photographic evidence shows that the signs don’t comply with the road traffic act and the white line marking for the camera were 30 centimetres short they police dropped the case.
