Not ITOriginally posted by CoolCat View PostGrant Shapps has tweeted that "high value" business travel will be exempt from Covid travel restrictions from the weekend. No doubt Infosys, Cognizant, Tata, etc are happy and will be booking the flights for all their "high value" IT workers.
TV production staff, journalists and recently signed elite sportspeople would also be able to avoid self-isolating, regardless of where they had travelled from.

It's a marvellous idea. I'd love to see what the definition of 'high-value' is wrt business travel.
I see also TV stars and elite sportspersons are also allowed to travel without restriction
