    Your average tracker mortgage is around 7% now, how long before it's 8%?

    Almost double what the discount periods would have been in the boom!

    I think that is a load of hogwash.

    House prices rising at 10%? When in 2005 they were at 2% wtf?

    They are not rising over 5 times faster (10% of now is more than 5 times of what 2% was).
