Would it be cynical to...

forecast the next Conservative Party manifesto may have something like:

"Due to the Conservative government's policies in 2020, it was shown that CO2 emissions fell by nearly 50% and carbon monoxide emissions by nearly 35%. This clearly shows that voting Conservative is a vote for a greener, cleaner planet."
