    If t was in a bad way you may have been eligible fort a grant to help with refurbishment? A couple from Portsmouth that moved up north next to my parents stomping ground got a 70% grant for the cost of refurbishment of their recently acquired but ‘n’ ben.

    I seriously considered buying that ex monastry last year. It was offered at a very reasonable price, but I figured I couldnt raise the cash to refurb it.
    I figured it for hotel and country club and as I remember it had enough land for a couple of golf courses.

    Been there 3 times in the last 12 months, rent an apartment get some supplies from the local patisserie, a jar of framboise, bread and a fine bottle of wine, then I’m ready, ready to relax and do nothing but absorb the atmosphere.
