    Why is an agency asking an UmbrellaCo for IR35 status advice? It is a bit like asking your butcher whether you should go vegetarian.
    It sounds like the agency don't have a clue (they won't be alone).

    I am more concerned about the huge percentage of jobs Im seeing advertised as inside without I guess any tax specialist input or assuming the contractor will not negotiate contract, SOW, conditions etc. I accept some end clients have policies in place but the adverts seem to be over 80% stating inside status. Perhaps we are doomed to follow the construction industry model.
