I fear that Scooterscot is trying to pump crypto though.

Indeed if you have paid £400K into a pension over the past 30 years - In 2 weeks it’s dropped £150KOriginally posted by scooterscot View PostBecause most workers of the UK have their pension locked up in the FTSE 100.
The recent 35% plunge just meant your retirement became a whole lot less exciting. Now you're going to tightening your belt in retirement, raining in the expenses, all the while the government is looking for way to increase taxes.
A economic reset is coming.. prepare yourself.

FTSE and Mainstream Media
Why is Mainstream Media obsessed with the FTSE 100?
Some specialised publications push certain funds, but I don't understand why the MSM don't push USA, and probably China now before the FTSE.
The USA S&P500 is a much more important index and what I'm currently mostly invested in, as are most people who put their money with their mouth is.
Interesting tips in this last dip are:
(1) UK smaller companies such as Henderson. Crashed 40% in a month and paying 5% dividend with good discount
(2) Liontrust Russia. Good growth companies that also seem to be paying a 5% dividend (too good to be true dodginess going on here though). Russia took a hit with the the Saudi Oil war too.Tags: None
