    The market seems to depend on your skill-set. Very strong demand for Java developers at the moment, especially if you have additional orchestration or big-data experience.

    Go is in demand too.

    Otherwise it does seem to be weakening. Sorry to hear of your news though.

    You should feed back to the office that their surveys are not going to be representative of the membership if they refuse to talk to people who are 'forced' into employment due to the market. It's a bit narrow minded to assume that all members are either on the bench or gainfully self employed.

    ... will probably come out more positive than reality.

    For the second time I have been unable to complete the survey as I have been forced into a permanent role by lack of contract work.

    I answer the first question and then get a 'thanks but no thanks' response.

    Anyone else in a similar situation ?
