Aye. Today was my first day not working after the contract finished.
Got 2 interviews lined up this week so hopefully will be able to pick something up before the new year (or very far into it).

It's that time of year again....
No - not just Xmas, end of contract!
Been at this client now for nearly a year so it I am more than ready to move on and the project is coming to a natural conclusion. What it making the break so painful is that I am handing over to a permie!
He has just joined the client and is coming up with all these enthusiastic statements and rethorical questions such as: "Wouldn't it have been better to do it this way....?!".
Give him a few more weeks and he will soon be caught up in the politics and procedures that make me glad I am a contractor!!
