    Well if someone has stolen my credit card I may as well let them keep it and use it. It'll save me money if the wife can't use it.

    No according to BA your passport details and flight booking details are quite safe apparently. It's only your bank card details that you used to make the booking they lost, so everyone can breathe a sigh of relief and relax.
