I'm a member of a military club as an ex serviceman which is also a hotel. Hence club-hotel. Members only to keep out the riff raff.

    Best value hotel in Ilford?

Long term gig coming up in London. Thankfully I have a good club hotel to use for most of the time for a mere £40 a night, but there are a few dates I need to book elsewhere.

Ilford seems to be good value with eateries etc and decent TFL links to central London - There are two Best Westerns and a similar priced hotel called Lucky 8. They are around the £45-£50 mark. I refuse to pay £100 plus for a Premier Inn flea pit in central London.
