British management will feck it up, then run around pointing at people who 'failed them', like the lunatic emperors of Roman times.

Of course, they should have employed a proper 'consultancy'.....

Look at it this way - you get paid the same for rubbing it out as you did for filling it in. Grin and bank it.

Thats they way I am looking at it however its just annoying when this happens, usually becuase someone thinks that its just a case of re plugging some numbers in to a spreadsheet.

But if there weren't any large scale feckups, there wouldn't be any contractors.

Geez.

So over the last 9 weeks I have dillegently worked on a project.

Now the customer has decided that they are not going to grow as much as they though and that they are going to hold less stock. Fine, except that now all the calculations have to be done again!

I mean were only talking about a £80 million project, not uch or anything. And next year when there is another similar project which is £300 million the same people are going to be calling the shots.



Monday, 18:44 on the last week of the project is not the best time to tell me that the key drivers for the whole study have changed....this should have been decided weeks ago people!!!!
