Yanks will just blame the Chinese for sending a genuine figure over. Anyone with any sense would have sent a passable fake if they value it that much.

Maybe this should be in that 'WW3 imminent' thread. Human race ended over a bit of clay pottery.

Nah, lock him in a room with a large bucket of rusty spoons, and a few small cubes of basalt, and don't let him out until he has carved perfect replacement thumbs.

He'd probably need a dozen or more lumps of the basalt, because if chipped at too vigorously it does tend to snap
