Taxi drivers have a reputation in buying the most reliable and economical. Skoda comes out tops with them

Yeah the quality is in favour of Skoda, usually top 10 in what car, when VW Audi often fail to make to top 20. They also break down less than VWsOriginally posted by PondlifeAgree that it's a VAG car and it uses approx 60% common parts with other VW/Audis with the same platform but there are definite differences in quality and styling that make a difference.Last edited by Bagpuss; 28 November 2006, 12:48.

OMFG, my sister lives in Snettisham and in my experience from visiting Hunstanton is the biggest tuliphole on the Norfolk coast, almost as bad as Great Yarmouth. If you had any class you would have got a nice cottage in Blakeney or Wells...Originally posted by ChurchillDA, one doesn't like to brag about the sex thing.
BTW, just bought a house in Hunstanton for weekends etc...

Edit: Whatever you do, don't get a Chinese from the one in the precinct unless you like to be a masochist with your bowels. The Indian next door is alright though.Last edited by Cowboy Bob; 28 November 2006, 12:44.

Do you have to pay VAG prices for servicing?
150 quid just to change the oil (Oh, they do a bit more than that, but when I asked "what" the answer was silence).
And they didn't even clean it (which the pug garage always did).

That TIPTRONIC is sweet!
Just need to run it in and get it chipped...
You have many years of good fun driving to you in front

MB, It's the 5 Speed TIPTRONIC. The 6 Cylinder stops it sounding too much like a tractor on start-up. I had an Audi A4 1.9 diesel before the Skoda arrived. I liked it. it had 99K miles and still drove like new!
Not sure about DSG - how would I know?
