    Blair 'sorrow' over Australia

[Reuters] In a landmark speech to Parliament today, British Prime Minister Tony Blair announced he was prepared to apologise to the world for the Australian nation, “the time is right to recognise that what began as an experiment in social engineering many years ago, has failed, & meant that millions around the world are now suffering the whinging and whining of the travelling Australian, a problem made more acute recently with the arrival of cheap air travel”

Heir apparent Gordon Brown added “if we’d have known they were going to turn out like this we would have kept the convicts at home and left the fly-ridden continent to the abbos, although it must be said, they do pull a good pint”
