London is the worst capital city I've visited. Why firms insist on locating there baffles me.

Bulltulip. It's a city that allows you to live a rich life. Not just financially, but in every other aspect. You have to make an effort and live here for a couple of years to appreciate it. It is not for everyone, though. Just like Yorkshire or Cheshire. Except Yorkshire is tulip. OK, maybe Cheshire is too.Originally posted by BrilloPad View PostThere is only 1 good thing about London. You could choose to live in London. You'd only have to spend ~£140 per month on a Zone 1-3 Travelcard and have an extra £10k to play with :-)Originally posted by scooterscot View PostYup, earning £80k per year to spend £12k on train fares instead of that £68k job in Bristol. Makes perfect sense.

Last time I was in the German countryside it smelt of manure.Originally posted by scooterscot View PostSure the roaming countryside around these 3 houses smells a lot better too.
But you're probably used to that stench since it's similar to what emanates from your gob.

You forgot no. 8.
You can sell your 1 bed above a kebab shop in Hackney and buy 3 houses in Germany.
