Spent last week in the UK, both me and Mrs scooter in fact. Something we both noticed was how expensive everything seemed to be. Pizza express, two undercooked small pizzas and soft drinks £30!!! Compared to my local Italian restaurant here in Munich, €14. we both thought one off incident and moved on. No matter where we went everything felt costly or overpriced for what it was. Only beed out the country for six months.
At the airport I got me a Twix for 80p -
Just got the exact same chocolate bar from the vending machine here at work, 52p
What a swizz. Moan over.
Especially at airport shops vs. supplemented or cost price work vending machines and major UK chains compared to local independents, obviously.
Lets hope with that understanding of base economics he doesn't ever start his own business....
Actually, it takes a lot of effort to ensure that every hotel has one room like this - what the British Hospitality Association call the Scooterscot Room.
"Sir.........
As an esteemed mathematical genius and such a valued Hilton Honours Member you will be glad we have upgraded your room"

Good. Lets hope he gets over it. He's got a hotel to run after all.
The Thistle hotel, do not stay here! What a hole. I got chased out of the room by a wee mouse!! Seriously. Got a new room, it smelled. £115 for this hole and no breakfast.

I think we've found the problem. He's disappeared up his own arse.
The first thing to check is whether the sleeping environment is conducive to a good night's sleep. Remember, that a scooterscot lacks the capacity to make its own decisions in this area, so you will need to be firm and tell it when and where to sleep. Remember what happened last time it tried to assert its independence:
