Maybe you are right but where does it stop? do we show re-runs of some of those dodgy racist comedy shows of the 70s or the Black and white Minstrel shows?

Wouldn't burning lots of copies of the Bible and the Koran cause a bit of a Holy War/Jihad...

    Probably not the best idea....

Disagree with number 2 on grounds of freedom of speech. Happen to agree with numbers 1 and 3, but that does not modify my support for freedom of speech.

I don't think it's right to judge that era by our standards, as this viewpoint was the prevalent one of society at the time, but let's not beat about the bush and act like they weren't, they almost to a man were.

I'm not quite sure what they hoped to achieve (Beyond a little controvery maybe) by reprinting an annual in which the whole story cuasing the issue is based around helping out the n*****s when the white guy gets covered in soot etc etc.

Storm in a teacup anyway if you ask me, some 'lefties' will get upset, some righties will get outraged at the rights being taken away, both equally sad.

So some people think that the dandy is racist and re-printing 1939 annual "had no place in modern society" and all the lefties in the world are being angry over this.

    GET OVER IT DICKWADS!
