Resolved the problem by buying cheaper mono printer - Samsung SCX 4200, HPs were not in stock on Dabs, and I am returning HP LaserJet 1160 due to failed tray, colour lasers are a rip off (even for mono text) unless you pay £400 for LaserJet 3600: much heavier and bulkier too.

I do this regularly. Recently I wrote a large application framework using PHP5 (around 15k lines over a week or two) and just threw it away because I didn't like it any more. As for printers, I bought a mono Brother laser from Staples using my main decision making influence (cost).

Indecisiveness
Sometimes even men with heart of a lion line mine can be indecisive - just wasted couple of hours trying to break up a dilemma of whether to buy colour or mono laser printer. There is just nothing perfect in this world to allow for easy decision making
