Previously on "Angela Eagle pulls out of labour leadership contest"
Noticed the deadline for people to join the Labour party to vote in the upcoming leadership contest closes 5pm today, and that they have to pay £25 to get a vote, same cost for anyone that's been a member for less than 6 months.
What a lovely little scam. Get tulip loads of new members at £25 a pop and have all the candidates pull out before the actual vote. Probably watched the Tories do the same the other week.
If Corbyn is Labour leader at the next general election, Labour won't crash land. They'll probably hop along the ground like an overweight dodo trying to get airborne!
(although admittedly it's a big mistake for Tories to underestimate Corbyn's support).
Even bigger mistake to assume that Corbyn has a handle on things; ask Lilian Greenwood about HS2 and other gaffes. Labour won't get in with Corbyn in charge, don't worry about that.
