I certainly didn't put my ass into a whorehouse, although I command your stamina for suffering that for 11 hours a day, Mr SP...

I got therough Uni by renting an industrial unit, turned it into a warehouse and employed cheap student labour.

oh dear: Tuiton Fees Protest
http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/education/6090872.stm
The survey of 1,019 UK adults found most thought estimated costs of £33,000 for a three-year degree course would put young people off going to university.
When I went to Uni it cost me nothing like £33k! More like £12k and I didnt leave Uni with any debt. Thats becuase instead of going "travelling" (which usually just means laying on a beach in Thailand or Aus thinking that this helps you - find yourself) I got my ass into a warehouse and did 11 hours a day, 5 days a week.
So when some arsy NUS student think that the world is so against them because they are not all on grants to do cushy media studies or politics and psychology I get a bit miffed.
Uni is about learning rules. Rule 1 nothing in life is free or easy.Tags: None
