    2.4KG! far too heavy, got this one a few months ago which I hook up to this when watching the odd DVD

    only problem I get when typing this on a 40" screen is the neck strain, it's like the tennis season all over again.

    On the Sony range actually this one I find quite good for the price (yep, AtW the same graphics card!), otherwise if you really want thin/light I still think the only brand which does that well is these people.

    Here's mine:

    Alienware Laptop

    I have the WUXGA screen and it is lovely on the eyes

    They do a 14" One that weighs in at 2.5kg if that's light enough for you
