I recently saw a sierra rs500 cosworth advertised for 90k
Rather than that I'd save 30k and buy this

If I had a big barn to store them, then for a months pay each, you can get a 944 S2, BMW 8 Series, VW Corrado, Jag XJS and a MK1 MR2.
Leave them for about 10 years and resell.

I can see the attraction of an old Jag, Ferrari or Alfa, but an old Ford Escort or such like just makes you look like the poorest council estate resident in the UK.
Now looking at 00s merc sl500, a 65k car which now can be had for as little as 7k. Has future classic written all over it.

Do love the fact that late 1990s/early to 2000s motors are just old cars and therefore cheap. I've got my eye on this S430 Merc at £4K on eBay:
2003 S430 Mercedes
The first thing I check is what tyres a car has. Expensive tyres normally means the car with have generally had money spent on it.Last edited by The_Equalizer; 15 April 2016, 14:57.

They were crap 25 years ago, now they are laughable relics.
