    So when I was at Uni and told my mate who did not turn up for classes repeat after me “would you like fries with that order” meaning she would be worse off if she didn’t graduate, wasn’t true.

    Had a chat with an agent yesterday that had a job half my normal rate. Then had a phone interview this morning for a different role, no agent, pitched my normal rate. They seemed too happy, I realised I could have got min £50 more if not £100. They are sending a contract to have a look at.

    What is an acceptable excuse to up the rate these days?
