Here we don't get a moment for the telly when the girls take over.
The only epic telly I recall were in the younger years when staying with my older cousin. The parents were out dinning. He had a fire lit and indiana jones raiders of the lost ark just begun. I was entranced.

Yeah! When my wife went I was left alone with five kids, youngest 18 months, and luckily (thank you Sun Microsystems) got WFH role - back in 2002, unusual but I was living in darkest Scotland then and not many folks knew much about SunRays as I did then. Anyways...Originally posted by scooterscot View PostDo people still watch telly?
I had two at school, one at playgroup and two at home (Scots kids start school at 5!!) and all had the telly on, noise, crashing and banging about, falling down stairs and hiding in the washing machine while I was working, got used to the noise and now I can't work without the telly on, and something in a window top left of my screen like an old movie I've watched a dozen times, even now I've only one at home now, nearly 16.
My current partner is the opposite - nightmare when we are both working from home, she needs absolute silence, while I have the telly on and occasionally put the MacBook down (she nicks my office) and try a new riff that entered my head on my 150w Line6 amp at a decent volume....
Luckily she doesn't WFH much....

I've got what I think is 'The Howl of Lions' on now, feck knows what's going as there's no sound in the bar.
Chemnitz is like any other city in the Soviet Union, grey, concrete, huge Karl Marx statue just of his head, looks like the Elephant man.
German in some ways though, like it was totally flattened by the RAF.......

More ******* migrants
Mind you, Chemnitz is a town where I think more than a few CuK people would feel welcome in

Is that show with a transvestite sitting on a couch reviewing adult movies still going?
Staple compliment to my post work day minibar emptying routine whilst in Germany.

...naff, and I have to wait an extra hour to VPN and watch 'Happy Valley' on iPlayer.....
And 'Sturm der Leibe' isn't on anywhere, used to like that one.....
And Chemnitz is boring, bar is empty and our room has a freaking clock tower right outside like in 'Genevieve'....Tags: None
