Option 1 is the only one worth considering. Agencies are only interested in seeing your work history not the name of your ltd company which is there for tax purposes and a different way of working (yes you are a business but you are selling your services rather than a perm member of staff)

    tch doing it all wrong

just make sure your picture has your best beard and tulipty half shaved hair do, show a piercing or two and make sure your sleeve is showing a little bit.

Everyone knows employers are more interested in edgy, on the edge of being on the edge type people as opposed to people who can do their jobs.....

having said that some of the digital agencies that bother me regularly seem to actually believe this.

I wish I could get away with listing "My Ltd" for 10 years and all the clients in small print, but the fact is no one's heard of my tiny Ltd and they have certainly heard of my clients so I have to stand on the shoulders of giants and promote them while I promote myself.

I list only a selection of my contracts, leaving out all contracts that are 4 months or less. Also recently removed everything older then 10 years
I have a list of my main skills in my profile.

Mine is currently option 2 - but I am considering switching to option 1.

I use my Ltd co for tax purposes and nothing more. You want to tell the rest of LinkedIn you're a dirty legal tax avoider?

I sell myself on LinkedIn, not my company.

Of course. In fact even each project within the same client. It looks impressive if you can show multiple projects.

Pointless. Why would any potential client care to know? An agent maybe.

It is not about presentation always. Rather think about what makes you an expert in your field. Discuss what it is you succeeded in and why people should hire you! It has zip to do with how pretty it looks.

Think... 'Sell me this pen' - what's the correct answer?

MyLtd co is Headline gig so appears first, all contracts are also listed below this as separate gigs with Interim/Contract in the job title
