China freezes out three banks from parts of the currency market
"China’s attempts to stabilise its currency have led it to freeze out at least three banks including Standard Chartered and Deutsche Bank from parts of the renminbi foreign exchange market.
As the offshore price of the renminbi slides further from the controlled domestic price, China’s central bank has written to major traders in the past two weeks informing them of a suspension from parts of the market. "
