Controversy reigns at the University of Lint in Essex, where 5,000 students have signed a petition opposing lectures by all lecturers.
“It’s extremely regressive that academics think they can lecture us, just because they’re more ‘qualified’, ‘educated’ and ‘intelligent’ than we are,” said protester Topaz Emolument, 18. “We’re calling on the university to end intellectual privilege today, and award a First to every student, irrespective of ability.”
