I'd imagine that not even the Scottish Government would be stupid enough to fall for that wheeze, the parents being resident in England may be a factor.

Well he claims to, but I suspect that a cardboard box under a Glasgow flyover is more likely.

The English pay tuition fees in Scotland, unlike the rest of the EU member states populations.

Far, far too long, I can't be bothered to read the advertising hogwash spouted by a Scot who's so proud of his country he left years ago and lives in Germany.

Fifty-four per cent of the population is educated to university degree level, ranking it number one among British cities, said John Donnelly, chief executive of Marketing Edinburgh. London, with 49%, is its nearest rival, followed by Bristol at 44%.
Sorry, but the University Graduate numbers became utterly irrelevant as a result of the Blair era where it became possible to attend a renamed old college of FE for 20 minutes every other month and be issued with a double First in raffia knotting and baked bean colouring.

England is think. If it had any sense Scotland would be booted out of the union.

Maybe I should try eating deep fried mars bars to become clever?
