Wearing a smoking jacket, watching a private show in the privacy of your own bedroomOriginally posted by rl4engc View PostThere are even sites now that allow amateur jazz musicians to upload their own private shows

Like all other forms of music you'll have to move with the times, Jazz DVD's have been around for many years now, and feature either a full concert or several shorter ones, the content can vary wildly however from professional to downright amateur.
With the invention of the internet it has become more common to watch jazz on a computer monitor, either by downloading copies of the aforementioned DVD's or nowadays there are numerous sites that allow you to stream jazz concerts directly for free.
There are even sites now that allow amateur jazz musicians to upload their own private shows (solo, duet etc. up to small orchestra) for other jazz afficianados to watch and provide constructive critism on.

When are car manufacturers going to get back in the habit of naming cars after bongo mags?
Ford set the standard with the Escort and the Fiesta.
Then there was the Mini Mayfair.
I don't suppose in these days of feminazis and extreme political correctness we're ever going to see the Vauxhall Razzle

Jazz Magazines
When I was in 6th form, as a keen musician, I used to read Saxophone Weekly and Trumpeter Today. I'd quite like to get back in the habit but in these modern days I wondered if I should be looking for a Kindle subscription, or if these are even the best magazines to go for.
Any recommendations? I entered "download jazz mags" into google on my client's site, but the firewall popped up and now I've been marched off site.Tags: None
