Through an interpreter, he pleaded not guilty to obstructing an engine or carriage under the 1861 Railway Act.

He was remanded in custody until January 4 next year.

He should be made to pay full single peak price of a fast train ticket from Birmingham to London.

Well there's a thing.

You just never know when the 1861 Railway Act will come in handy.

I wonder if he'll be fined 40/-.

(That's 40 shillings or £2/0/0 for the uninformed).

For dear old freako, this refers to the illegal who walked through most of the channel tunnel on his way to nirvana.
