A couple of mopeds draw up, 2 passengers get off, wait at Sandpits Rd/Petersham Rd junction to ambush next passing pedestrian. Midday of course, broad daylight. Woman arrives walking with kid, muggers attempt to steal her watch, she escapes, scaffolders see cafuffle, stop their passing lorry, get off and chase after the muggers with scaffold 'weapons'. Nothing taken, no one hurt this time.

£2M for a crib in Richmond and still get that outside the front door in broad daylight !

Muggers? Looks more like attempted child abduction.

Despite it's country bumpkin lifestyle the South West is great for WFH as many places seem to be fully BT fibre'd up. Probably all that aforementioned London money pouring in with their second/holiday homes down here.

It is a nice spot to be sure, Bath being one of my fav spots and a direct line into Paddington. Winchester also a top spot.

Both seem to be so populated of late.

Well for Londoners who bought in the 80s and 90s, the sorts of prices in this thread are chump change.

Nice place - but if the shielding conifer tree line in Pic 5 ever came under threat from the "right to light brigade" it would mean being over looked by the lower social orders

£2m quid though, and Newquay is a rough old dump apart from the beaches.
