I was there at the police raid after they shot the brazilian in London, and got photos in the nationals

I was sent there being told there is a demonstration going on get your camera down there...no one mentioned an anti terrorist raid

Now imagine being dressed all in black, wearing a belt back full of lenses, with cables hanging out for flash units etc, and a huge 200-400 f4 lens carried over your shoulder like a rocket launcher...I was literally threatened with being shot if I didn't hand over my camera...in a moment of stupidity/bravado I simply said go ahead punk make my day

So that's what I'd do, say some stupid throwaway line and probably get shot by the peace loving terrorists if it really kicked off, after all a camera isn't much of a weapon
