For dear old Freako, this describes the unfortunate demise of a Russian gentleman who ate a tablet computer.
Don't try this at home.
A man in Russia who tried to avoid being arrested by eating his tablet computer has died, police say.
Police in St. Petersburg were called to an apartment in the city on Sunday afternoon after they were alerted that someone was throwing things out of a window.
Apparently worried about being detained or arrested, the 41-year-old unemployed man started to eat a smashed up tablet and bits of glass.
A local police commissioner at the scene attempted to stop the man from eating any more of his tablet, and was injured trying.
He then called an ambulance to the apartment but the man lost consciousness and died before it could get there, according to a police statement.
It is not clear why the man was throwing things out of his window or why he started eating his tablet. An investigation into his death has begun.
Police did not reveal whether the deadly device was Apple or Android.Last edited by zeitghost; 8 June 2017, 11:34.Tags: None
