Goa is good in december. Don't know if the brilliant full-moon beach parties still exist - but everyone is friendly and it's cheap.

Punta Del Este, Uruguay. Sun, sand etc, and you can pop over to Buenos Aires if you want.
You can also visit the town of Fray Bentos and send some pies to Threaded.

Joke title, serious question. Any recommendations for some winter sun? I'm looking to get away for 1-2 weeks in early December. Sun, beach, etc, is what is required...
