Sadly I am reaching the same conclusion - and I am in an English Con/Lab marginal, so I can do something about it.

Cameron is a busted flush - he just can't win.

I would rather Miliband be PM outright, than be forced to get into bed with the SNP. I have no problem with coalitions, but the SNP strategy will be to do as much damage as they possibly can while still being able to blame all the problems on the English.

Despite whatever they say, they won't go into coalition/partnership (or whatever they term it) with Labour in good faith.

I'm in a very interesting constituency.

Incumbent MP is David Heath (Lib Dem) who holds a slender majority. He's retiring though so the Tories are going into overdrive round here.

Oddly enough, all I see is those "join the green surge" posters ironically displayed in the windows of large, drafty country houses and those oh so eco friendly Volvo estates.

Ive been tempted by UKIP - Im not anti Europe though;. Just concerned about immigration but I may still vote Lib Dem. They're still pretty good with their brand of localism.

Certainly won't be voting for that snake oil salesman Cameron - even if the economy, jobs, pensions etc are safest in his hands ( though I dispute that and just think we're riding out another property fueled bubble).

The vote I want to cast is one for Britain for the next 50 years but I can't find anyone whose name I really want to stick an X next to in that respect.

Handy that the Mrs is a criminal lawyer. Makes the arraignments easier.

And I always thought you were such a pleasant little IRA supporter too

After Tony Blair and Gordon Brown I am not surprised the English want an English PM.

Sadly due to living in Wales it makes no difference who I vote for, as the great unwashed vote sodding labour in every time. Mainly due to 'thatcher closing the pits' despite most of them being from family's where no one in the last 3 generations have worked at all, never mind down a pit. Still it gives the Welsh assembly a reason to exist and continue being utterly ineffective at anything resembling being a government.
