Grangemouth is converting to use mainly shale gas and imports it from the USA. They want to frack all around the central belt area but this will stop them causing earthquakes for a few years at least.

That is the real tragedy. We could have an oil fund that is helping us through these tough times but the money made from the oil was pissed up against the wall.

I actually think the north sea oil revenue is the most indicative point of the image.

The UK has made feck all from the stuff.
