It's 5 o'clock and this dude has emerged from a meeting he's been in since mid day.

So I've had to sit at another desk whilst he's effectively been using 'my' desk all afternoon as a shelf for his laptop, coat and dirty coffee cup.

I arrived at clientco offices on Monday morning to find they've had a big 'reorganisational-shuffle-around' and the desk I had been working from no longer exists.

The 'section leader' (who I nominally report to) very apologetically told me I would need to locate a spare desk somewhere in the building and get it moved to his area, and probably move a load of other tulip in the process. Very apologetic he was.

Matters not to me - you're paying the same hourly rate whether I'm shifting desks and boxes or saving the world one project plan at a time.

It wouldn't happen to a permie!

Late in this morning due to weather disruptions and some freeloader has occupied 'my' desk.

Goddam no rights as a contractor!
