    Amazed this has not had more comment. Is everyone too busy moisturising?

    I think low oil prices are great. Some say it was low oil prices that caused the global boom of the late nineties. I just wish we had petrol tax rates from back then.

    There will be no rate rise before the election. Carney only got the job on that condition.

    BBC News - UK inflation rate falls to 1%

    UK Consumer Prices Index inflation fell to 1% in November, down from 1.3% in October.

    Inflation as measured by the Retail Prices Index fell to a five-year low of 2%, down from 2.3%.
