Back to the OP, it's hardly news that smoking while pregnant can and likely will cause problems.
That information has been promoted in pre-natal information for at least a quarter of a century and as serious advice probably for most of the quarter before that.
As to the link SueEllen posted... No thanks, no appeal to me at all.
