As a holder of TSCO, DLAR and BBY which have all taken a very heavy beating recently I am keeping faith long term and topped up while its low

Debatable. The FTSE depends more on a global recovery than other indices (largely ignoring the UK recovery) and is weighed heavily by oil and mining stocks, neither of which look particularly good in the medium-term. Indeed, the FTSE is pretty flat over the past year vs. strong gains in other markets (e.g. the US indices, which are much more US-centric). Some of the European indices are more enticing with potential additional action from Draghi. Sterling has been strong, which hasn't helped. But if by "fill yer boots" you mean a potential 3-5% bounce in the short-term then, yes, fill yer boots...

FTSE now lost the last six months of gains, dragged down by supermarkets, a little further and it's fill your boots time.
